In March 2025, TNMDA members and their families came together for a distribution meeting at our Chennai office. The gathering was an opportunity to hand over provisions and household supplies to families living with muscular dystrophy, and to spend time together as a community.

Volunteers packed and handed over bags of rice and other essentials to each family. For many members, these meetings are also a chance to catch up with one another, share what has been happening in their lives and seek guidance from the TNMDA team.

Alongside the distribution, members spoke with association representatives about medical support, rehabilitation and the government benefits they are entitled to. The team noted the needs shared on the day so that follow-up support could be arranged.

Meetings like this are made possible by our volunteers, donors and well-wishers. Their support helps TNMDA reach families directly and stand with them through their journey.
